Hammarby Sjöstad 2.0, microgrid project
The Swedish pilot takes place in the energy community Hammarby Sjöstad in Stockholm and is led by ElectriCITY. The aim is to build a power reserve together with other property owners, promote local renewable electricity production, demonstrate real-life interactive communication and support tools, which will engage citizens in the energy transition. Additionally, the pilot aims to create a profitable business model for all parties on a flexibility market, help the entire network, including other districts, actively contribute to an energy transition, and ensure electricity production.
